Wrapping your car roof is a fairly straight forward process that can be done quickly and easily.
Here are the steps to wrapping your car's roof:
- Clean the surface of the car thoroughly. This includes wiping away any dust, dirt or debristhat have accumulated over time.
- Measure the length and width of the area you will be covering with the wrap.
- Cut the vinyl wrap according to the measurements. Make sure to add a few extra inches for greater overlap.
- Warm up a corner of the wrap with a blow- dryer or heat gun. This will make it easier to apply the vinyl to the car's surface.
- Peel off the backing paper from the vinyl and begin applying it to the car's surface.
- Secure the vinyl by gently pressing it againstthe car's surface. Then use a squeegee or soft cloth to press the vinyl against the car's surface.
- Trim and tuck any excess vinyl into the doorframes or crevices of the roof. When you are satisfied with the end result, useput a sealant on the surface of the vinyl toprotect it from water and other elements.
